10th July

Day started at 8 with as usual login. Then tea with Dipanjan.

I had to call up Jaya twice regarding the PBR changes. Seems offshore has not tested the queries after deployment of the package. I had to invest some time here.

We had status call today. From this week onwards, it will be held on every tuesday. We started to office as soon as the call ended. Then lunch and it was 1 PM by the time I was at my desk. In a way, half of the day was over.
Lot of issues/ tasks are on my plate. I took up Maurice's y'day issue first as I was clear here  about what I am supposed to do. Still there were some glitches on my way which somehow were removed. Dipanjan helped me in formatting the xls.
In between we went for coffee also. I should restrain myself from the coffee break going forward. There are so many things to do and I am somehow not able to finish them up before 5 PM. ALSO I MUST LEAVE BY 5. Lets make it a practice.

Now, I hope and pray that all is well.

Many a times I am in awe of this person. ...

Now, today I have logged off quickly after I sent the status email.

Working Style
What I observed is, whenever any issue/ task is coming up, I only think of finishing it. I do not do an impact analysis of it. e.g.
Samir today requested to delete goc table entries in UAT, so that he will load some new goc mappings.
In this scenario, my approach would have been to delete the goc table straightaway.
But Dipanjan's Approach -
1. Why Samir is asking for this
2. What post activity he will do after that & How - This led to him checking for feed processing in UAT.
